BOYD, Justice.

George W. Thornton, doing business as L & M Electric Company, and the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company appeal from a joint and several judgment in favor of Arlington Independent School District.

The School District entered into a contract with Thornton for certain electrical work on its buildings, the total amount of the contract being $26,085.79, and Aetna was the surety on Thornton’s performance bond.
