{¶ 25} Respectfully, I dissent.

{¶ 26} This case concerns the authority of the trial court to require Jacob Shumaker to defend an action brought against his employer, Residential Finance Corporation, even though Shumaker has not been made a party to that action. Because the trial court patently and unambiguously lacks personal jurisdiction over Shumaker in that action, and because the exercise of judicial authority over him violates due process, I would reverse the judgment of the court of appeals and grant a writ of prohibition to prevent the trial court from compelling him to appear and…
