Suit was brought by the plaintiffs, Isaac P. Bixler and Hermina E. Bixler, his wife, against the defendant, the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, under the act of Congress of April 22, 1908 (35 Stat. 65, c. 149 [U. S. Comp. St. Supp. 1911, p. 1322]), and supplements, genérally known as the “Employer’s Liability Act,” to recover for the death of plaintiffs’ son, who at the time of the accident, resulting in his death, was in the employ of the defendant, engaged, as alleged, in interstate traffic.
