Tbe defendant, Nick Oblizalo, on May 21, 1920, after dne trial, was convicted before tbe district court of Salt Lake county on an information filed by tbe district attorney, charging bim and one Steve Maslicb jointly with having committed tbe crime of murder in tbe first degree. Defendant bad a separate trial, and the jury returned a Verdict of murder in tbe first degree without recommendation, upon which judgment was entered in accordance with said verdict, and tbe defendant sentenced to death by tbe court.
