GLEESON, District Judge.
Following a 1986 trial in New York State Supreme Court, Kings County, petitioner Anthony Brown (“petitioner” or “Brown”) was convicted of three counts of murder in the second degree, six counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and one count each of attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree, and robbery in the first degree.
