The decisions in Howell v. Howell and Stevens v. Stevens, were made January 12. They were concurred in by four judges after the most painstaking consideration and diligent research, and with full comprehension of what the results would be. All of the arguments now adopted to overrule what was said to be sound reason for the determination then made were before the Court, and were rejected because, as it was said, a fundamental principle could not be the subject of judicial expedition. The following paragraph summarized our feelings regarding the law:
