Case Summary

Larry Pryor appeals his adjudication as a habitual offender. He was found to be a habitual offender after being found guilty of burglary, theft, and possession of paraphernalia. Before trial, Pryor waived his jury trial rights and requested a bench trial. The trial court advised Pryor of his right to a jury trial in the “case” but did not provide an explicit advisement of his rights during the habitual offender phase.
