The plaintiff, as owner of property assessed for taxes in the School District of Joplin, sued to have certain levies of taxes for school purposes cancelled, as being a cloud upon his title, and asked that the collection of such taxes be enjoined. A demurrer was filed; the venue changed to Vernon County, and defendant's demurrer to the petition was sustained; plaintiff declined to plead further, and judgment for defendants followed.
