CRAIN, Judge.
This is an appeal from a decision by the State Civil Service Commission upholding appellant’s dismissal from his permanent classified civil service position.
FACTS
Mr. Taylor was employed at Charity Hospital in New Orleans (CHNO) for twenty-two years (October 8, 1959 — October 9, 1981). He was first employed at CHNO in the housekeeping department. From there he transferred to the labor department and later to the paint department where he was employed as a painter for approximately eight years prior to his termination.
