A Pine County jury found defendant, Robert Edward Thieman, guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Shirley Sahf, attempted second-degree murder and assault of Pine County Deputy Sheriff Brett Grinde, intentional assault of Pine County Deputy Sheriff Douglas Spindler with a dangerous weapon (gasoline) and first-degree arson.
