This action was begun by the State on the relation of one Erma Kirtley, wherein she alleged that she was pregnant with a bastard child, and that Gentle Grant Morgan, appellant herein, was the father of said child. There was a trial in which the relatrix was adjudged pregnant and the appellant herein was found to be the father of her bastard child.
