The Union Seating Company, a private corporation of the State of Michigan, incorporated for the purpose of manufacturing and selling school furniture, instituted this suit in the District Court of Shelby County against the appellant, J. W. Stephenson, as county judge of Shelby County and ex officio superintendent of public schools for the county; John T. Horris, the treasurer, the several, county commissioners, and the county itself, alleging, in substance, that, it is the owner by purchase of certain school warrants, thirty-four in. number, thirty of which were issued…
