Nina Simone Griffin and Jamie A. Bramblett were tried jointly for a violation and attempted violation, respectively, of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act. Bramblett was granted a directed verdict on the charge against him, and Griffin was convicted as a repeat offender of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, OCGA § 16-13-30 (b), (d). Griffin received a life sentence. She appeals following the denial of her motion for new trial.
