The respondents, George W. Gregory and Thomas T. Gregory, charged with the murder of J. T. Nicholson, in the Court of General Sessions for Chesterfield County, were found guilty of manslaughter by the jury at the September, 1932, term, and sentence was imposed upon them by the presiding Judge, Hon. W. IT. Townsend. Thereafter, on March 24, 1933, their motion for a new trial, made before Hon. P. H.
