Plaintiff sues on three notes of $1,600, $1,500, and $4,000, dated July 9, August 16, and September 26, 1904, respectively, a'nd on open account for $1,440.25, all for advances alleged to have been made to the defendant for the purposes of the crop of 1904 on Dunbarton plantation in the parish of Concordia.
