At that time, the plaintiff Carole Kargul resided as a tenant in the Sandpiper Apartments located at 239 Nautilus Drive in New London, Connecticut. The defendant Linda Scott was also a tenant in the Sandpiper Apartments in an apartment located across the hall from the plaintiff. Lafate F.
