BLACKBURN, Presiding Judge.
More than five years after her arrest on vehicular homicide and hit and run charges, Shirley Hester moved the court to dismiss the charges on the ground that her Sixth Amendment right to a speedy trial had been violated. Following a hearing, the trial court denied the motion, which ruling Hester directly appeals. We hold that the undisputed facts show that Hester’s Sixth Amendment right to a speedy trial was violated, and we therefore reverse and direct the trial court to dismiss the charges.
