Frederick C. Gilliland (“Plaintiff’ or “Gilliland”) brings this 'action seeking judi cial review of a final decision of the Acting Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (“Defendant” or “Commissioner”) pursuant to Section 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), denying his claim for disability insurance benefits (“DIB”) pursuant to Title II of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 401 et seq.
