Defendant, Armead Michael Smith, appeals the judgment of conviction entered on a jury verdict finding him guilty of possession of cocaine, a schedule II controlled substance. We affirm.

Near 10:30 p.m. on May 6,1993, an Arvada police officer responded to a complaint that an unknown person had been knocking on the back door of a house. He found no one there, but upon patrolling the surrounding neighborhood, the officer saw defendant and another man.
