This is an appeal by New Communities, Inc. and J.E.F. Developers from a judgment of the District Court in favor of Tri-South Mortgage Investors (Tri-South) against Charlton P. Rozands, Sheriff and Ex-Officio Tax Collector for the Parish of Terrebonne, New Communities, Inc. and J.E.F.
