The record having been corrected, the appeal is reinstated and the case considered on its merits.

Appellant was the assessor and collector of the Marlin Independent School District. An audit of his accounts disclosed a shortage of approximately $5,800.00. According to the testimony of the State, when such shortage was called to the attention of appellant, he did not question the correctness of the auditor’s report.
