Introduction
In this multidistrict litigation (“MDL”), more than three hundred and sixty products liability actions have been filed by individuals who claim to have taken Fosamax, a prescription drug approved for the treatment of osteoporosis and other bone disorders, against Merck & Co., Inc., the drug’s manufacturer.
