A. INTRODUCTION AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

In several respects, the instant case parallels another case before us involving the same lender, In re Tucker, 74 B.R. 923 (Bankr.E.D.Pa.1987). As in Tucker, we rule against the Debtor on an issue of interpretation of state law regarding computation of rebates of unearned finance charges. However, based in large part on our reasoning in Tucker, and a subsequent decision of Chief Judge Emeritus Joseph A. Lord of the District Court in In re Abele, 77 B.R. 460 (E.D.Pa.1987), we find that the Lender, as in that case,…
