The defendant, Charles M. Ward, was convicted óf theft of a camper valued in excess of $150 in a jury trial in the circuit court of Du Page County and sentenced to lVa-S years in the Illinois State Penitentiary. On appeal, the defendant contends that the State has failed to prove the essential elements of the charge beyond a reasonable doubt.
