AHRENS, Judge.

This is an action brought under the Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act *599(URESA)1 to establish the paternity of and order support for a minor child. The responding court sustained the putative father’s motion to dismiss and ruled that the cause of action was time barred by the five year statute of limitations set forth in § 210.-826.1(2) RSMo (Supp.1987). We affirm.
