INTRODUCTION

Codefendants Elissa Arambula, Jose Luis Munguia and Anesia Lucia Ribeiro were charged by amended information with first degree burglary with the intent to commit larceny or any felony, in violation of Penal Code section 460, subdivision (a). 1 As to each defendant, the amended information alleged the offense was a serious felony under section 1192.7, subdivision (c)(18), and a violent felony within the meaning of section 667.5, subdivision (c)(21).
