On or about the 15th day of December, 1922, the plaintiff obtained a judgment against- the • defendants in an action commenced by him to foreclose a mortgage upon real property in Stutsman county. In .that judgment it was decreed that the property described in the mortgage, or as much thereof as might be necessary to pay the judgment, be sold at public auction, in the manner provided by law for the sale of property under execution, under the direction of'tlie sheriff of that county.
