PEARCE, Judge:
1 Barbara Bagley appeals from the district court's ruling that she is barred from maintaining two causes of action arising out of an automobile accident that claimed her husband's life. The two plaintiffs in this case-the decedent's heir and the personal representative of his estate-brought a wrongful death claim and a survival action against the driver alleged to have caused the accident.
