liThe State took the two subject children into custody due to allegations of neglect, inadequate housing, and drug use. After the mother gave birth to a third child, the State took that child into custody as well in light of the mother’s continued substance abuse. Custody of the mother’s eldest child was later transferred to the child’s father and the State pursued termination of the mother’s parental rights to the youngest two children given ongoing concerns regarding the mother’s alleged substance abuse.
