*559—In a proceeding, inter alia, pursuant to General Municipal Law § 50-e for leave to serve a late notice of claim, Mahopac Central School District appeals from an order and judgment (one paper) of the Supreme Court, Putnam County (Hickman, J.), dated August 29, 1995, which granted the petition.
Ordered that the order and judgment is reversed, on the law and as a matter of discretion, with costs, the petition is denied, and the proceeding is dismissed.
