MEMORANDUM OPINION

INTRODUCTION
Chapter 13 of the bankruptcy code allows debtors to save their homes from imminent foreclosure by empowering them to cure defaults and reinstate their mortgages, even when it is too late to do so under state law. But when is it too late to reinstate a mortgage under chapter 13?
