Respondents, plaintiffs below, brought this suit to foreclose a certain deed of trust on real estate and a chattel mortgage on personal property. The property covered by the instruments was the Chase Hotel in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. The trial court entered a decree for plaintiffs and the appellant, hotel company, appealed.
