SIMON, Justice.

Instituted as a possessory action by plaintiffs1 against defendants,2 the matter is before us on writs of certiorari, prohibition and mandamus to review the ruling of the Fourteenth Judicial District Court for the Parish of Cameron.

Plaintiffs allege that they are the title owners of property, therein described in detail, containing approximately 9,011 *662acres located within Township 13, Range 3 West, Cameron Parish, commonly ’known as the Lake Arthur Hunting Club property.
