The defendant-appellant Lovisa Rauch appeals from the first circuit court’s amended judgment of conviction of and sentence for the offense of reckless manslaughter, in violation of Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) § 707-702 (1993 & Supp.1999), 1 filed on September 22, 1999.
