GREGORY, Circuit Judge.

Adrienne Corti brought suit pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000(e) et seq., against Storage Technology Corporation (StorageTek) for gender based employment discrimination after she was demoted. A jury returned a verdict in favor of Corti, awarding her $100,000 in punitive damages, but no compensatory damages.
