Appellant Jessie David Wyatt appeals from his conviction and life sentence for the malice murder of his estranged wife. Appellant enumerates as error on appeal the trial court’s refusal to grant a mistrial due to the district attorney’s improper cross-examination of appellant and improper statements during closing arguments. We find that, with the exception of one such statement, the trial court’s rebuke of the district attorney in the jury’s presence and curative instructions to the jury satisfactorily cured any harm resulting from the improper statements.
