This is an original action to review an order and award of the State Industrial Commission rendered on May 2, 1931, awarding compensation to the respondent. N. L. Hudson. On March 21, 1931, respondent filed his first notice of injury and claim for compensation. In reference to the date of the accident, he stated that it was a “series of heavy lifting starting about October 1, 1930, continuing until he could not work,” and that the cause of the accident was “lifting heavy machinery.” He described tbe nature and extent of his. injury as “permanent injury to back and side.” He also stated in…
