*656 *512 This action arose from the commercial lease of lakefront property at Tucker Lake in Johnston County that began January 2012 and ended 31 December 2016. Lessors Trenton Glen Tucker, Allison C. Tucker, Hollie Tucker Winters, Brian Keith Winters, and Tucker Lake Recreations, Inc., as well as Sharlette Tucker, Glenwood Tucker, and Tim Richardson (collectively, "defendants"), appeal a trial court order that adopted a compulsory referee's report.
