TERNUS, Justice.

Plaintiff, Helen Ladeburg, was struck by a semitrailer driven by defendant Ronald Thomas Ray and owned by defendants Ray-loc, a division of Genuine Parts Company, and Genuine Parts Company. Plaintiff filed this negligence action which ultimately resulted in a jury verdict for the defendants.
