Defendant, Horatio Cosme, was arrested and charged with first degree murder along with his codefendants, Felipe Rosales, Danny Leal, Rigoberto Moreno and Manuel Velasquez, in connection with the death of Michael Marrone. After obtaining a severance from his codefendants, Cosme was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to 50 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
