Atkinsoh, Justice.
It appears from the record, that on September 20th, 1889,. J. II. Burckhalter conveyed to the Planters Loan & Savings. Bank certain real estate in the city of Augusta, to secure certain indebtedness due from him to it. The consideration of the deed was stated to be $3,000.00, and it recited that it was made to secure any and all indebtedness tben or thereafter due to the bank until the deed was delivered back to the grantor or reconveyance made.
