Deborah Ann Hebert appeals from a district court judgment terminating permanent alimony payments from her former husband, Dr. Donald Edward Smith.

Ms. Hebert married Dr. Smith in 1974. Subsequently, Dr. Smith adopted Ms. Hebert’s two minor children from a previous marriage. The couple were divorced on September 14, 1982. The divorce judgment decreed Ms. Hebert to be free from fault and awarded her alimony and child support in a lump sum of $1,666.60 a month.
