This was a bill in chancery, in the McHenry circuit court, brought by Stephen Haskell, to foreclose a mortgage, he claiming as equitable assignee thereof. The note, to secure which the mortgage was executed, was made by one Barak Brown to the Kenosha and Bockford Bailroad Company, payable in five years from the 10th day of May, 1857, with interest thereon at the rate of ten per centum per annum, payable annually.
