Appellant Amanda Dailing challenges her conviction for driving while intoxicated *442on the grounds that the trial court lacked jurisdiction over her case. In her first issue, appellant contends that the statutes purporting to grant jurisdiction to the statutory county courts over misdemeanor driving-while-intoxicated cases violate the Texas Constitution. In the alternative, appellant contends that under the proper interpretation of the applicable statutes, statutory county courts lack original jurisdiction over most Class A and Class B misdemeanors, including all driving-while-intoxicated cases.…
