Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Bonnie Wittner, J.), rendered November 23, 1993, convicting defendant, after jury trial, of burglary in the second degree, and sentencing him, as a second violent felony offender, to a term of 6 to 12 years, unanimously affirmed.

Defendant failed to preserve his challenge to the court’s supplemental charge on the permissive inference connected with defendant’s recent and exclusive possession of stolen property (People v Cowans, 213 AD2d 344, lv denied 85 NY2d 971) and we decline to review the claim in the interest of justice.
