— Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Westchester County (McMahon, J.), rendered July 3, 1984, convicting him of rape in the first degree and sodomy in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Judgment affirmed.

Although the testimony of the complainant and the defendant was in sharp conflict on the issue of forcible compulsion, the witnesses’ credibility was for the jury to determine (see, People v Gruttola, 43 NY2d 116, 122), and it cannot be said as a matter of law that the evidence, when viewed in the light most favorable to the prosecution,…
