OPINION
ANNE GARDNER, Justice.
On appeal, Appellant James Corey Hines raises two points alleging ineffective assistance of counsel during various stages of his punishment trial. We will affirm.
I. Factual and PROCEDURAL Background
On November 21, 2002, nineteen-year-old Appellant was charged by indictment with one count of indecency with a child— his thirteen-year-old half-sister, L.H. — for touching hér breast and genitals on July 8, 2002.
