This is a companion case to Dellums v. Powell, 184 U.S.App.D.C. 275, 566 F.2d 167, D.C. Cir. No. 75-1974 (August 4, 1977) (Dellums I). The sole issue on this appeal is whether the trial judge, after entering judgment in favor of the plaintiff class, properly vacated an order entered before trial which dismissed three named plaintiffs from the action for failure to comply with discovery requests.
