The board of county commissioners of Pontotoc county entered into contracts with certain bridge companies to reconstruct several steel bridges, which had been damaged and destroyed by flood waters in the summer of 1921. The bridges were constructed, apparently, in a satisfactory manner to the board of county commissioners, and all other parties concerned until the funding proceedings were commenced in June, 1923.
