1Opinion of the CourtWilson, J.

John C. Slorah was indicted for murder in York Pounty at the September- term, 1917. At the January Term, 1918, being the “next term after the finding of the indictment,” he was placed on trial on his plea of not guilty with a suggestion of insanity. After the impanelling of the jury, on motion of the respondent, and with the consent of the State, a view of the locus of the alleged crime was ordered by the court. Whereupon the jury in charge of an officer, accompanied by the respondent and his counsel and the attorney for the State visited the home of the respondent where the homicide was…
